This dude is Dave Catching, and he’s holding a little pill bottle in his hands that is full of sand from Rancho de la Luna in Joshua Tree, California that our mutual friend Chrissie is bringing back from her jollie’s there for me to use in a painting that I’ll be working on about a song called Nothing that Dave’s band Earthlings? recorded many moons ago. I’ll update this post with explanation of the work & work in progress as it happens, rather excited about this I am now! Nothing like a new project to get the old blood circulating again.
